Fu Wei

Fu Wei is the principal viola of the China Symphony Orchestra and a national first-class performer.

From 1981 to 1993, he studied  at Central Conservatory of Music Affiliated Primary School, Affiliated Middle School, and University, and studied under Xu Guanghan, Li Jue, Cen Yuanding, and Sui Keqiang

From 1993 to 1996, he worked as a viola player in the Central Orchestra. During this period, he participated in the Quartet of the Central Orchestra and performed in Romania and other places

From 1996 to 2024, he worked in the China Symphony Orchestra, participated in the Principal Ensemble of the China Symphony Orchestra, and performed in Taiwan，China, Africa and other places.

In the past 30 years, he has participated in a large number of symphony works .He has visited many countries with the orchestra.
